Business Development Representative (NYC)

About the role

SV Academy is hiring Sales Development Representatives. Free sales training, a 90-day paid Residency at $2,500/month plus 100% commission, then transfer to a partner company's payroll at $75,000 - $95,000 with full benefits.

Responsibilities

• Free sales training: Ten days of live, instructor-led training on Zoom, Monday through Thursday, 6-9 pm (ET or PT).
• Paid Residency at a partner company: Full-time as a W-2 employee of SV Academy, working on outbound prospecting, qualifying leads, and scheduling discovery meetings for Account Executives.
• Transfer to the partner's payroll: Compensation of $75,000 - $95,000 in total annual compensation (base + commission) with full benefits starting the day you transfer.

Requirements

• English proficiency sufficient for professional work communication.
• Completed Bachelors degree preferred.
• Experience in a customer-facing role such as retail, hospitality, customer support, fundraising, or account management.
• Experience in a goal-driven role with measurable targets.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to tell compelling stories.
• Confident, charismatic, and engaging communicator.
• Comfortable wearing multiple hats, navigating ambiguity, and figuring things out independently.
• Excited by ambitious goals and motivated by a high-performance environment.
