About the role

The Industry Relations & Business Development Manager will serve as a key ambassador for BiltOn, helping to expand the company's visibility and build relationships with Operations, Risk, and Safety teams at top ENR General Contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Represent BiltOn at major construction, safety, and ConTech events across the United States.
  • Engage attendees, introduce BiltOn's platform, and communicate our value proposition.
  • Identify and qualify potential customers and strategic partners.
  • Build and maintain relationships with General Contractors, Owners, Safety Leaders, and other key stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Marketing teams to support pipeline growth and event success.
  • Gather market feedback, industry insights, and competitive intelligence.

Requirements

  • 3–4 years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships, Field Sales, Customer Success, Relationship Management, or a similar client-facing role.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong networking abilities and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex technology into clear business value.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
  • Willingness to travel frequently throughout the United States.
  • Midwest-based preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Construction, Safety, ConTech, PropTech, Real Estate, or Construction Insurance.
  • Familiarity with B2B SaaS environments.
  • Existing relationships within Midwest construction networks, safety associations (e.g., ASSP, AGC), or construction insurance groups.
  • Experience representing a company at conferences, trade shows, or industry events.
