Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager – Specialty Ingredients (Outside Sales) to join a thriving client team in California.
Responsibilities
- Conduct heavy field-based prospecting and cold outreach to acquire new logos and grow territories.
- Engage in aggressive new account acquisition, consistently building a pipeline from scratch.
- Demonstrate measurable revenue impact through significant deals and percentage growth.
- Sell specialty ingredients directly to manufacturers, focusing on food & beverage, nutraceuticals, personal care, pet food/feed, and agrochemicals.
- Manage and expand large territories independently, driving market growth.
- Utilize industry experience to connect with direct competitors or closely related suppliers.
- Ensure minimal focus on account maintenance, with a strong emphasis on new business development.
- Travel extensively to engage with potential clients and establish new accounts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Experience in the specialty ingredients industry is non-negotiable.
- Proven success in managing and expanding large territories.
- Comfortable with significant travel for field selling and cold prospecting.
Work Hours
Monday through Friday, first shift.
