About the role
The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in expanding the client base and diversifying the offerings of Eurofins PSS Insourcing. This is a hybrid role that combines remote work with frequent local and regional client meetings, as well as visits to client sites.
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new sales targets
- Present the Eurofins PSS Insourcing model to potential clients
- Manage the entire sales development cycle from prospecting to project implementation
- Engage with executive-level stakeholders to secure meetings
- Manage complex sales cycles and collaborate cross-functionally
- Develop and maintain long-term strategic relationships with clients
- Monitor competitor activity and identify market trends
- Create and implement action plans to achieve KPIs and sales goals
- Develop and negotiate contracts
- Solve problems effectively
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years of consultative sales experience selling professional services, preferably in the life sciences industry
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Proficient at closing sales and creating, developing, and maintaining client relationships
- Experience and comfort with prospecting
- Quick learner
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time locally and within a region
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
