Business Development Lead, Residential Direct
What To Expect
The Business Development Lead is a dynamic role that requires a broad range of skillsets and experience. This role is responsible for owning and executing strategic initiatives and projects, developing new business models, and synthesizing complex problems into executive-level decision points for Tesla’s Residential Direct installation business.
Strong candidates will be well-versed in residential energy markets and technologies (solar, storage, home charging, V2X, etc.) and bring a structured approach to problem-solving, strong executive-level communications, and a history of successfully managing a wide array of projects and stakeholders.
Working on Tesla’s Residential Energy Business Development team requires wearing many hats and adapting to a fast-paced environment. Besides a rock-solid work ethic and a strong team-oriented personality, team members must display creativity, passion, and a desire to break new ground in a constantly shifting landscape.
