Business Development Director, EVS

HybridFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: h3 headings for sections present: About the role? The posting has "Position Summary", "Essential Functions", then subheadings: Customer Engagement And Closing Deals, Market Segmentation And Go-to-Market Strategies, Business Development Execution, Stakeholder Management, WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS, Qualifications (with MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, Preferred Qualifications, BACKGROUND PREREQUISITES). Also maybe "Pay" etc not present, so omit. We must not repeat job title as heading. Use h3 for each section heading. Use ul/li for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use p for prose. We need to preserve all substantive info, remove boilerplate (cookie/navigation/legal/EEO etc). There's no such boilerplate visible. Also remove duplicated lines, application instructions. We need to format content accordingly. We need to decide sections: "Position Summary" could be "About the role" maybe but we should use headings as they appear? The instruction: use h3 for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It suggests we should map to those standard headings, but we can also use the actual headings if they match? It says use h3 for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities...). Likely we should use those standard headings, not the exact wording from posting. But we need to include sections only when posting has real content. So we need to map content to these standard headings. Thus: - About the role: corresponds to Position Summary (maybe also includes reporting lines). Use h3 About the role. - Responsibilities: corresponds to Essential Functions and its subsections (Customer Engagement..., Market Segmentation..., Business Development Execution, Stakeholder Management). Could combine under Responsibilities. - Requirements: corresponds to Qualifications (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, Preferred Qualifications, BACKGROUND PREREQUISITES). Could be Requirements. - Skills: maybe not separate; we could embed within Requirements. - Benefits, Pay, Schedule: not present, so omit. - Working Conditions & Physical Demands: could be a separate section maybe "Working Conditions". Not in list but we could still include as h3 Working Conditions? The instruction says use h3 for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It doesn't forbid other headings, but says use h3 for section headings (e.g. those). Likely we should stick to those categories. However Working Conditions is substantive; we could include as a separate section with h3 Working Conditions (though not in example). The instruction: "Use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." It gives examples, not exhaustive list. So we can add other headings as needed. Thus we will produce sections:

About the role

with p containing Position Summary content.

Responsibilities

with ul/li for each bullet (the subheadings maybe as li with nested ul?). We need to preserve all substantive info. Could structure as top-level li for each major responsibility area, and within each li we can have further ul for subpoints. That's acceptable.

Requirements

with ul/li for Minimum Qualifications, Preferred Qualifications, Background Prerequisites. We could also have

Working Conditions

with p. We must not include filler like "commensurate with experience". Not present. Let's extract content. Position Summary paragraph: "The Business Development Director is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for generating the EOTECH Edge Vision Systems business development and go-to-market strategies, market segmentation and key customer pursuits, market and target acquisition roadmaps, key product integration and innovation guidance based on market research, including understanding price to market, competitive positioning analysis and competitive advantage, and execution of the above towards achieving revenue and high growth objectives. This role is pivotal in aligning product/market fit with the company’s technological assets and key strengths. The Business Development Director may lead direct and indirect cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality pitch decks for internal and external use, with the intent of driving approvals on new business opportunities or lead to customer purchase orders. This individual contributor position reports to Senior Vice President, Business Development for American Holoptics, with a dotted line reporting relationship to the Vice President and General Manager, EOTECH Edge Vision Systems. This role reports into the EOTECH Edge Vision Systems Santa Clara, CA, but physical location is flexible. To learn more about EOTECH Edge Vision Systems, please visit EOTECH Edge Vision Systems." We should remove the "To learn more..." maybe considered navigation? It's a link; but it's not boilerplate; it's a reference. Might keep but it's like a call to visit website. Could be considered extra but not prohibited. I'd keep it as part of summary. Now Responsibilities: Essential Functions heading then bullet points. Essential Functions: "In this role, you will lead the market education, innovation, and adoption to achieve near term revenue objectives and position EVS for longer-term high growth and scalability." Preferred Qualifications - Master’s degree preferred. BACKGROUND PREREQUISITES - Must complete and meet company standards for background checks, employment verifications, and reference checks. - US citizenship or permanent resident status is required for this ITAR facility. Now we need to output HTML fragment. We'll wrap each section in

and then content. For Responsibilities, we can have
    with
  • each major area, and inside each
  • we can have a

    or

for subpoints. Simpler: make each bullet as
    • directly under a
under Responsibilities, ignoring subheadings. But we need to preserve the subheadings maybe as inside li. Could do:
      • Customer Engagement And Closing Deals:
          ...
      • . That preserves structure. Similarly for other sections. Let's craft. We'll need to escape any HTML special characters? Not
