Business Development Associate
Responsibilities
Business Development Associate will help drive growth of StoneX Payments' Global Payments business by partnering with Sales, Correspondent Banking, and Go-to-Market teams to deliver innovative payment and foreign exchange solutions. This client-facing role combines business development, solution consulting, and cross-functional collaboration to expand revenue, strengthen client relationships, accelerate adoption of StoneX's payments capabilities, and support the development of scalable payment infrastructure, including real-time and alternative payment rails.
Aid in developing and growing strategic relationships with new and existing financial institutions, non-profits, and corporate clients, identifying opportunities to expand FX and payments revenue.
Partner with Sales teams to originate, qualify, and advance opportunities through consultative solution selling.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their business objectives, operational models, and regulatory requirements, and aligning StoneX solutions to their needs.
Support client engagement throughout the sales, onboarding, and implementation lifecycle, ensuring a seamless client experience.
Act as a subject matter expert on FX, cross-border payments, correspondent banking, and global payment infrastructure.
Assist in client presentations, solution workshops, RFPs, and strategic business development initiatives.
Collaborate with Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Correspondent Banking teams to design and deliver scalable payment solutions.
Identify market trends, competitive developments, and client requirements to help shape business strategy and future solution enhancements.
Qualifications
- Candidates graduating after August 2026 will not be considered.
- 0-3 years of experience in business development, payments, banking, fintech, treasury, or financial services.
- Strong understanding of FX markets, cross-border payments, correspondent banking, and payment technologies.
- Proven ability to develop client relationships and support complex solution sales.
- Experience working cross-functionally with product, technology, operations, and commercial teams.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Pay
Hiring Salary Range $75000 - $85000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity and alignment with market data.)
