Business Development Associate

What You Will Do

As a Business Development Associate, you will support Klarna’s Partner Success organization through operational excellence, commercial coordination, and process optimization across strategic PSP partnerships.

• Support management of internal workflows.
• Track partnership performance.
• Support invoicing and reporting processes.
• Cook up materials for internal and external stakeholder meetings.
• Work closely with commercial, product, operations, and partner teams to ensure smooth execution across ongoing initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability.

Who You Are

• 1-3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, Partnerships, or related positions.
• Strong commercial understanding with interest in business development fundamentals and partnership operations.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and able to quickly adapt to new processes, tools, and priorities.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple operational tasks simultaneously.
• Experience supporting internal processes such as reporting, invoicing, tracking, coordination, or stakeholder preparation materials.
• Curious about AI tools and comfortable incorporating AI into daily workflows and productivity practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Operations, or a related field.
• Awesome to have: Experience in payments, ecommerce, fintech, retail, or technology industries; Familiarity with CRM platforms, reporting tools, or operational tracking systems; Experience supporting commercial or partner-facing teams in a high-growth environment; Exposure to process improvement, automation, or operational optimization initiatives.

Skills

• Experience with AI-powered tools and workflows.

Pay

The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education. The salary range posted in the job advertisement refers to the base pay. Base pay is part of a total compensation package, which may also include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health and wellness, and benefits such as life insurance, medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents.
