Business Development Associate

About the role

InsuranceHub is seeking a Business Development Assistant to join their growing team. This role involves connecting Account Executives with customers seeking insurance quotes, qualifying leads, and consolidating them into one department to increase efficiency and return on investment.

Responsibilities

• Engage and qualify potential clients through inbound telephone calls, instant messages, and email communication methods.
• Maintain a high degree of product knowledge and customer service expertise while promoting and enhancing the customer experience.
• Perform outbound lead follow-up, adapt to change in a fast-paced environment, and take on special tasks and assignments as needed.
• Communicate with and provide information to team members, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer literacy, G Suite preferred, and Salesforce a plus.
• Strong presentation and telephone skills.
• Customer service and sales experience preferred, especially in a call center environment.
• A love for ping pong.
• A high level of energy and resilience.
• A customer-oriented attitude.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Self-motivation and goal orientation.
• Excellent written/oral and interpersonal communication skills with a genuine concern for the customer.
• An ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Pay

The starting salary for this role is $36,000 per year. After one year, there is the potential to progress in your career path with the potential to earn up to $70,000.
