About the role

Angi is seeking a Business Development Associate (BDA) to join the Enterprise Sales team. This role is crucial for laying a solid foundation for new business development in our vertical. The ideal candidate will have a passion for seeking and developing new customer relationships and building a pipeline of qualified prospects.

Responsibilities

  • Possess 2+ years of cold calling experience and enterprise sales experience (a plus)
  • Have considerable knowledge or work experience in the home services industry
  • Be confident in utilizing a wide array of digital tools and platforms to achieve business goals
  • Be results-driven with a passion to meet and exceed goals and objectives
  • Show business acumen and/or a thirst for knowledge and drive to learn deeply about our partners' industries and businesses
  • Be a confident, strategic thinker with the ability to research and uncover new unidentified opportunities
  • Overcome roadblocks with creative solutions
  • Have a natural desire to keep up with industry trends and always adapt and evolve with new sales techniques
  • Be tactful and resilient in challenging situations, and innovative in evaluating new business opportunities

Requirements

The BDA will report to the Director of Enterprise Sales and collaborate closely with the broader Business Development team on pipeline building and prospect qualification strategies. It is the key initiative of the BDA to source, qualify and set appointments with prospective clients.

Benefits

  • Compensation: $45,000 - $75,000 Base pay $21.63/hr + uncapped performance-based commission paid monthly
  • Annual on-target earnings (OTE): $75,000

Where You’ll Work

This is a remote position and the ideal candidate will permanently reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington D.C., West Virginia, Wisconsin or Wyoming. Angi currently has an office in the following cities/states: 1) Denver, CO, 2) Indianapolis, IN and 3) New York City, NY, which are available for use if you reside near these locations.
