About the role

Androscoggin Bank is seeking a part-time Business Courier to visit client locations to pick up and deliver items for processing. The position is available Monday through Friday, with a flexible schedule ranging from 4 to 6 hours per day, totaling 20-24 hours per week. Responsibilities

• Pick-up and deliver items from client locations to the bank for processing.
• Securely transport items back to the bank office for processing.
• Conduct daily reviews to log items scheduled for pick-up and delivery.
• Maintain pick-up/delivery logs and vehicle logs to document duties performed.
• Turn in weekly driver reports, item logs, and timesheets to the supervisor in a timely manner.
• Use phone and hands-free cell phones for better customer service and re-routing of products.
• Provide efficient and professional delivery service, answer customer questions, resolve problems or concerns, and interact politely and caring.
• Attend annual driving safety training.
• Report all accidents and injuries in a timely manner and comply with safety and risk management policies.
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned by the Treasury Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One-year related experience and/or training preferred.
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to keep accurate logs and inventory records.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and complete work in a timely manner.
• Valid Maine Driver’s License with a clean record.
• Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy packages.
• Ability to work independently and problem solve.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn banking processing software.
• Exceptional customer service skills and strong ability to follow procedures.
• Professional demeanor and ability to interact with individual and business clients comfortably.
• Reliability and integrity are very important.
