About the role

EY has a robust life sciences commercial practice, helping clients with strategic growth, business transformation, and commercial excellence. This senior role within our Consulting practice will have the opportunity to lead large engagements, build solutions, lead teams, and innovate in the market. Our practice works with large pharma, biotechnology, medical device manufacturers, and medical technology industries. You will be an integral member of our life sciences consulting team, and spend most of your time focused on providing client services in the following areas: business transformation, commercial operations, commercial data and analytics, commercial strategy, market access, growth strategy, operating model optimization, technology implementation and enterprise transformation.

Responsibilities

  • A majority of your time will be spent supporting client engagement teams and working with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services in the life sciences domain.

Requirements

  • Average 6+ years biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry experience and experience providing advisory services in these industries, focused in at least one of the following areas:
  • Commercial analytics
  • Brand strategy
  • Pricing and market access
  • Commercial operations model transformation
  • Digital campaign management strategy
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical datasets (e.g. pricing databases, prescription and claims databases, etc.)
  • Experience with commercial operations and analytics
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • The executive presence to interact with the C-Suite
  • A willingness to travel to meet client needs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Biology, Pharmacology
  • Life science or biomedical background and experience in data analytics and commercial operations
  • PhD in life sciences or bio-focused engineering discipline (ideally)

Schedule

Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.

Pay

Base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $138,100 to $315,600. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $165,700 to $358,700. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
