About the role
EY’s Life Sciences Consulting Services team assists clients in finding the right balance between protecting the business and driving measurable value. This senior role within our Consulting practice will have the opportunity to lead large engagements, build solutions, lead teams, and innovate in the market.
Responsibilities
- Support client engagement teams and work with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services in the life sciences domain.
- Lead large-scale client engagements and consistently deliver quality client services.
- Manage and motivate client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds.
- Monitor progress, manage risk, and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
- Manage expectations of client service delivery and stay up-to-date on current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business.
- Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment by playing an active role in counseling and mentoring junior consultants within the organization.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks.
- Develop relationships with team members across all EY practices to serve client needs.
- Stay current on new developments in the life sciences advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Biology, Pharmacology.
- 6+ years biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry experience and experience providing advisory services in these industries, focused in at least one of the following areas: Commercial analytics, Brand strategy, Pricing and market access, Commercial operations model transformation, Digital campaign management strategy, Familiarity with pharmaceutical datasets (e.g. pricing databases, prescription and claims databases, etc.), Experience with commercial operations and analytics, Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Qualifications
- Strong prior experience in Life Science commercial strategy with a focus on operational models.
- Additional experience in market access and commercial analytics will be a plus.
- Prior experience working in Strategy focused boutique life sciences or internal strategy roles with top biopharma clients (e.g., Merck, Pfizer, BMS).
- Experience managing a team of at least 5 reports in a dynamic fast-paced setting.
- The executive presence to interact with the C-Suite.
- A willingness to travel to meet client needs.

Pay
The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $114,800 to $210,600. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $137,900 to $239,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
