Business Banking Relationship Manager – West Houston

About the role

Amegy Bank is seeking a Business Banking Relationship Manager in Houston, TX, to develop and manage relationships with businesses generating approximately $3 million to $20+ million in annual revenue.

Responsibilities

• Grow, retain, and expand a portfolio of existing Business Banking customers, including relationships within the for-profit and nonprofit sectors.
• Source new customers through referrals and develop opportunities that drive portfolio growth.
• Recommend appropriate solutions to clients as a trusted advisor to meet their objectives.
• Meet assigned revenue goals for the region and products.
• Gain complete knowledge of the business and personal financial needs of assigned customers.
• Visit client locations every 6 months.
• Build knowledge of each assigned client by completing an in-depth profile of their business and develop/manage a relationship plan for each client.
• Develop and drive new acquisitions within assigned banking centers through centers of influence, such as CPAs, attorneys, and the existing client base.
• Ensure client requests are met by handling them directly and/or referring to the appropriate resource.
• Meet or exceed Key Performance Measures, including portfolio growth, revenue/profitability, retention, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of directly related experience.
• Broad application of principles, theories, and concepts in the applicable discipline, plus extensive knowledge of other related fields.
• Extensive knowledge of sales techniques, banking products, and services.
• Excellent customer service, negotiation, and PC skills.
