Business Banking Relationship Manager

Strong client relationships are built on trust, assessing and attending to clients’ banking needs, obtaining and processing client and account information, educating clients on available deposit and loan products and services, and recommending financial solutions based on each client’s unique goals and needs.
U.S. Bank Business Banking Relationship Managers are the primary advisor for our business clients and are responsible for building, developing, and managing new and existing relationships with business clients while delivering financial expertise and client-centric solutions that build strong, long-term relationships.
Responsibilities
- Build, develop, and manage relationships with business clients
- Deliver financial expertise and client-centric solutions
- Assess and attend to clients’ banking needs
- Obtain and process client and account information
- Educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services
- Recommend financial solutions tailored to each client’s unique goals and needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Three to four years of relevant experience
Skills
- Strong relationship management and business development abilities
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of credit administration, analysis, and credit policy/procedure
- Knowledge of cash flow management and business credit underwriting (commercial credit training preferred)
- Demonstrated understanding of basic financial accounting and analysis
- Knowledge of bank products and services to identify sales opportunities
- Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated business acumen with knowledge of diverse types of businesses, industries, markets, financial, and economic concepts

Pay
Pay Range: $86,310.00 - $105,490.00 (reflects figures based on the primary location; actual range may differ based on the role’s location). In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
