About the role

The Business Banking Relationship Credit Analyst supports client acquisition, onboarding, portfolio management, and ongoing relationship servicing. This role plays a key part in delivering an exceptional client experience, supporting lending and credit activities, and helping drive business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Credit & Deal Support
    • Aid in client discovery, deal qualification, and loan structuring support.
    • Support financial analysis, pricing requests, and pipeline management.
    • Coordinate deal activities to ensure timely progression of opportunities.
  • Client Onboarding & Execution
    • Gather and review required documentation.
    • Aid in deal summaries, product solutions, and execution activities.
    • Cook up appraisal, documentation, and onboarding processes.
  • Portfolio Management & Client Support
    • Support portfolio monitoring, loan renewals, and pricing updates.
    • Perform financial analysis, covenant tracking, and risk monitoring.
    • Maintain accurate client and deal information in bank systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • Five to eight years of Business Banking experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Experience supporting business or commercial credit, underwriting, or lending analysis in a banking environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, cash flow, and core credit fundamentals.
  • Comfortable supporting Relationship Managers rather than owning a client portfolio.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with credit, risk, and relationship management partners.

Pay

$98,175.00 - $115,500.00 U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment. U.S. Bank conducts background checks consistent with applicable local laws, including the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance and the California Fair Chance Act as well as the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance. U.S. Bank is subject to, and conducts background checks consistent with the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act (FDIA).
