An integral member of the client-facing team, acting as the primary liaison with clients, internal teams, and business partners. Supports the end-to-end credit management process and assists with business development, marketing, fulfillment, and implementation.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates credit originations, approvals, documentation, bookings, fee collections, and renewals.
- Monitors credit compliance, resolves documentation, collateral, and past-due exceptions, and ensures credit quality and data integrity.
- Proactively ensures client satisfaction throughout the credit management process, including credit servicing problem resolution.
- Ensures timely follow-up of loan monitoring activity to maintain a sound credit portfolio.
- Supports sales efforts by engaging clients, prospects, referral sources, and centers-of-influence to develop new business and expand the client base.
- Supports outside sales focus on demand deposit/operating accounts, cash management, payments services, business loans, lines of credit, commercial real estate loans, and other business banking products.
- Analyzes business financial data and submits complete credit packages for underwriting; completes site inspections and confirms inventory levels.
- Ensures clients and prospects are satisfied with their experience, including effective on-boarding, product implementation, and ongoing servicing.
- Ensures adherence to credit and compliance policies: Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), compliance testing, risk management, due diligence, risk grading, and Basel II & III compliance.
- Maintains covenant compliance, obtains updated financial information on the existing loan portfolio, and documents risk-based discussions with borrowers.
- Recognizes unfavorable trends and makes appropriate recommendations to the business credit center.
- Manages the pipeline of active and viable leads, including prioritizing and scheduling calls.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in business loan servicing and support
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in business loan servicing and support
- Thorough knowledge of SBA lending process
- Prior experience working with sales teams
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments
- Strong organizational skills
- University degree preferred
Pay
$97,500 - $130,000 per year
