Business Associate. Endoscopy, Full Time, Day

About the Role

To support the Outpatient Care Center, Centralized Department, and patients by providing a variety of services such as registration, scheduling, admitting, database management, information processing, patient/department support, materials/inventory management, education/development, and unit-specific tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of formal business/medical training preferred
• Completion of BA training program required
• Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) certification preferred
• Computer experience with knowledge of Windows environment
• Previous customer service experience required
• Medical office experience required

• Effective communication and writing skills, including proper spelling and grammar
• Effective interpersonal skills to collaborate with co-workers and other staff
• Critical thinking skills: analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, prioritizing, and time management
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently without loss of composure or attention to detail
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
• Typing/keyboarding speed of 25–30 WPM minimum

This position is located at The Valley Health System in Ridgewood. Shift: Day (United States of America).

Pay

Pay range: $19.81 – $24.76 per hour.
