Business Associate (#011503) Manning Reentry/Work Release Center, Columbia (RICHLAND) Level 1

Job Responsibilities

• Manage institutional petty cash and handle requests for printing and vendor services.
• Order, stock, and fill institutional requests for expendable supplies.
• Process, route, and follow up on all purchase requests, including communication instruments and equipment.
• Process and track authorized deductions from inmate accounts, including child support, victim restitution, and medical expenses.
• Maintain and process all inmates' new hires, including job setup, weekly deductions, payroll, and job terminations.
• Perform all other assigned duties, including completing four (4) weeks of SCDC basic training upon hire.

Requirements

• A high school diploma and work experience directly related to the area of employment.
• A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience.
• Two years of accounting or accounting-related experience preferred.
