Business Architect

For our client, we are seeking a Business Architect to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will drive business process analysis and requirements definition for enterprise application implementations, helping translate business needs into practical solutions. You will partner closely with business and IT stakeholders to document current and future-state workflows, assess impacts and risks, and support alignment across project teams. The position also contributes to testing readiness by supporting UAT and defect tracking in a complex technology environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $115,080 – $218,520 annually Responsibilities Lead business process analysis and requirements gathering activities Facilitate workshops and interviews with stakeholders Document current and future-state business processes and workflows Translate business requirements into functional specifications Conduct gap analyses and assess business impacts and risks Collaborate with project teams to align business and technical solutions Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect tracking Qualifications 10+ years of experience as a Business Architect or in a related role supporting enterprise application implementations Strong skills in business process mapping and requirements elicitation Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops across business and IT teams Knowledge of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) methodologies Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Ability to translate business needs into functional and operational requirements Familiarity with major government or transportation-related system implementations Benefits Comprehensive medical and dental coverage Disability and retirement benefits Paid leave and paid time off Discretionary annual bonus program based on performance Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
