Business Analyst- Warehouse/Inventory Management

About the role

The Business Analyst- Warehouse/Inventory Management position at Infosys Public Services requires a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Key responsibilities include proficiency in Warehouse Management and Inventory Management Systems, familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and tools, strong facilitation skills, effective liaison between business and technical teams, and strong SQL and Apache Kafka skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate discussions across multiple groups to ensure clarity of requirements and consistent communication.
• Lead the decomposition of complex processes into clear business logic, workflows, and testable requirements.
• Manage UAT and CAT testing sessions, including scenario development, user coordination, and tracking defects.
• Create process documentation, user guides, SOPs, and support workflows.
• Interpret logs, understand data mappings, and work with developers/architects to shape technical solutions.
• Engage in Agile/Scrum environments, including backlog refinement, writing stories, creating test cases, and participating in sprint ceremonies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business, developers, QA, vendors, and architects.
• Communicate complex topics clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences.
• Manage multiple workstreams, priorities, and timelines while maintaining attention to detail.
• Trace issues across interacting systems and propose logical paths to resolution.

Requirements

Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive, relevant work experience, with a master’s degree being strongly preferred. The role involves sitting for extended periods and communicating via phone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required based on job requirements.
