About the role

A business analyst for the Single Counterparty Credit Limits (SCCL) regulation will help establish the governance framework, operating procedures, and regulatory compliance. The role acts as a key liaison across P2PM, Commercial, Consumer, and Capital Markets groups to build sustainable processes, control routines, data validation standards, and business‑as‑usual monitoring. Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of the SCCL governance framework, including requirements and controls related to credit risk mitigants, funds, economic interdependence, control relationships, and counterparty aggregation.
  • Draft, maintain, and periodically refresh standard operating procedures, process manuals, operating instructions, desktop procedures, and run‑books governing SCCL processes and control activities.
  • Define ownership, RACI matrices, approval workflows, escalation paths, evidence standards, and audit trails to support transparent execution and regulatory defensibility.
  • Identify and drive process improvement opportunities to reduce operational risk, manual touchpoints, control gaps, data quality issues, and process breaks.
  • Coordinate recurring working sessions and governance forums with P2PM, Commercial, Consumer, Capital Markets, Internal Audit, Legal, Compliance, and Reporting teams to maintain alignment on SCCL execution.
  • Create training modules and documentation and facilitate training sessions and process walkthroughs.
  • Triage, document, and resolve ad‑hoc inquiries from regulatory reporting, data, front office partners, and control stakeholders.
  • Perform business validation and user acceptance testing to confirm accuracy, completeness, consistency, reliability, and fitness for regulatory monitoring and reporting.
  • Analyze exposure, mitigant, and counterparty data from source systems, applications, and downstream reporting environments using Excel, SQL, and other analytical tools.
  • Ensure daily monitoring is consistently executed and in compliance with approved procedures, internal controls, escalation standards, and regulatory requirements (post‑implementation).
