Business Analyst / Scrum Master
About the role
The Business Analyst / Scrum Master will serve as the primary bridge between operational users, Functional Managers, the Government Product Owner, and the Agile software-development team. Key responsibilities include eliciting and analyzing operational and functional requirements, translating mission needs into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and maintaining traceability.
Responsibilities
- Elicit and analyze operational and functional requirements
- Work with COCOM planners, Functional Managers, SMEs, Product Owner, and end users
- Translate mission needs into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Support backlog refinement and sprint planning
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Analyze operational workflows and business rules
- Support demonstrations, UAT/UFL, and user validation
- Maintain requirements-to-story-to-test traceability
- Identify dependencies, blockers, and requirement conflicts
Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts (BA)/Bachelor of Science (BS) in a Business Management discipline
- Additional four years of experience in lieu of degree is acceptable
- 5+ years of business, systems, or requirements analysis experience
- Experience supporting Agile software-development teams
- Experience developing user stories and acceptance criteria
- Strong stakeholder facilitation and communication skills
- Ability to translate operational needs into actionable software requirements
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and required Secret eligibility
Skills
- Scrum Master certification
- DoD C2 or mission-planning experience
- COCOM or Functional Manager engagement
- JOPES, JPES, JCRM, or Joint Planning experience

Pay
$105,000 - $135,000
Schedule
This position is in the proposal stage. Base salary offers are determined based on the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and/or discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay.
