Business Analyst / Scrum Master

About the role

We are seeking a versatile Business Analyst / Scrum Master to support the delivery of strategic technology and business initiatives. This role will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, helping to define requirements, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and drive successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and process flows.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Track project risks, dependencies, and impediments while promoting continuous improvement.
• Support testing, change management, and implementation activities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Scrum Master, or in a combined BA/Agile delivery role.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC processes.
• Experience creating business requirements, user stories, process maps, and functional documentation.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile platforms.

Skills

• Financial services, banking, fintech, or related industry experience preferred.
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
• Exposure to regulatory, compliance, lending, payments, risk, or other banking-related initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
