About the role

Acentra Health is seeking a Business Analyst Specialist to join our growing team. The role involves logical design and functional behavior of solutions involving complex information systems under no supervision for Provider Payments along with Oracle Financials background. Responsibilities include elicit requirements, present technical solutions, support customer relations, and manage system impacts.

Responsibilities

• Elicit requirements working with customer and stakeholders.
• Works with customers on presenting technical solutions for complex business functionalities.
• Possesses unwavering commitment to customer service and operational excellence.
• Provides customer support through leading customer demos and presentations.
• Understands the overall system architecture and cross-functional integration.
• Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of business and technical solutioning relating to Core Claims to ensure high quality.
• Publishes technology points of view through the creation of white papers.
• Led team in applying in-depth healthcare Provider Enrollment, Maintenance and Screening; Claims and encounter, Member Eligibility & Enrollment, or Managed Care domain knowledge to review and analyze systems problems to ensure high quality.
• Escalates issues and risks to manager and assists in developing solutions.
• Facilitates proposal development by providing technical solution write-ups and pricing estimates.
• Acts as the requirements subject matter expert and supports requirements change management.
• Identifies gaps and deviations within product versus customer business requirements.
• Transforms requirements to system functional requirements and business process requirements.
• Collaborates with Solution/Technical Architect, Business Analyst, Technical lead, and stakeholders to translate Business and System functional requirements to implementable components.
• Determines optimized solution by conducting Decision Analysis and Resolution on possible solutions.
• Develops Prototype, Proof of Concept, wireframe models to demonstrate solution as applicable.
• Identifies areas for process improvement to improve quality and optimize cost.
• Reads, understands, and adheres to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
• 7+ years of business analysis or related experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience on large complex projects.
• Domain knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and/or healthcare verticals.
• Minimum 5+ years of business analysis experience in Healthcare Domain.
• Strong knowledge on Medicare / Medicaid Management Information System and managing vendor receivables and payables.
• Excellent knowledge of generating Remittance Advices (835X12s).
• Excellent customer relation skills including presentation and meeting facilitation.
• Experience leading and mentoring team that facilitates and runs customer facing requirements and design sessions.
• Excellent requirements elicitation and validation skills, including experience with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong technical knowledge and proficiency in SQL.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Oracle EBS modules like Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and Oracle Financials (OFIN).
• Knowledge of data integration and software enhancements/planning.
