Job Description

Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Preferred Education: Master’s degree

Must Have Skills/Attributes: Problem Management, SAP Experience

Desired: Experience creating reports, dashboards, and performance metrics using Microsoft Excel and Power BI (5 yrs); Experience working with enterprise systems such as SAP or comparable business applications. (5 yrs); Experience supporting capital investment planning, portfolio management (5 yrs); Experience within the utility, energy, infrastructure, engineering, or other regulated industries. (5 yrs); Knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, capital planning, investment planning, cost evaluation (5 yrs)

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business and operational data to support investment planning and organizational decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, KPIs, and ad hoc analyses for stakeholders.
  • Support portfolio planning activities by evaluating investment scenarios and planning assumptions.
  • Extract and integrate data from enterprise applications to support reporting and planning initiatives.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance to ensure reliable business information.
  • Maintain planning records, documentation, and enterprise repositories throughout multiple planning cycles.
  • Gather business requirements and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Build automated reporting solutions and streamline recurring data processes.
  • Cook up with Finance, Engineering, Planning, Asset Management, and Operations teams to support cross-functional initiatives.
  • Prepare documentation, presentations, and analysis for governance reviews and leadership reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, workflows, and overall business efficiency.
  • Provide timely support for ad hoc reporting requests and special business analysis projects.

Qualifications

Required Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Education: Master’s Degree

Skills

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to interpret complex datasets and convert findings into meaningful business insights.
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and data integrity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Effective collaboration and relationship-building skills across diverse business teams.
