Role Description

• Your primary duties as a Business Broker are fourfold based upon our service offerings:
• Business Brokerage: Build relationships with small business owners and help them prepare their business to be confidentially listed. Manage the buyer screening, offer, due diligence, and closing processes.
• Business Valuation: Help business owners review financials, cash flows, market conditions, and other elements to provide a Broker's Opinion of Value (BOV).
• Franchise Consulting: Help prospective franchise buyers find and purchase the right franchise based on their wants, skill sets, financial ability, and earning expectations. Partner with hundreds of Franchisors.
• Franchise Development: Help outstanding local businesses grow their business through becoming a franchisor.
• Your secondary duties will be to build your network, market for new small business listings, and participate in management team meetings and strategy sessions.

Qualifications

• Experience with Business Ownership, Business Brokerage, Insurance Strategies, Finance, or Sales preferred.
• Strong analytical and financial skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team player.
• Networking and negotiation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
• An entrepreneurial spirit and passion for the Main Street businesses.
