Responsibilities

  • Working on both pre- and post-sales projects focused on our enterprise platforms Genedata Biologics® and Genedata Bioprocess® which are tailored to support data- and workflow management in biopharma R&D.
  • Stakeholder management (in pre- and post-sales)
  • Cook up with Genedata-internal stakeholders (e.g., project and product management and technical sales)
  • Understand customer pain points to identify opportunities for new business development and business expansion with existing customers
  • Build strong customer relationships across entire organizations with scientists, R&D heads, IT managers and other stakeholders
  • Prepare and deliver scientific and sales presentations

Requirements

  • MSc or PhD in biology, biotechnology, bioprocess, bioinformatics, or a related field
  • Familiar with the biotechnology, pharmaceutical or software industry
  • Familiar with biopharma R&D processes (antibody screening technologies, CGT, discovery technologies, bioprocess, bioanalytics, CMC), biopharma production, analytical instrumentation, or lab automation
  • Familiarity with enterprise or capital equipment sales and stakeholder management is a plus

Skills

  • Self-motivated team player with ability to work independently
  • Able to interact productively with scientists and IT experts at all levels of an organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong interpersonal skills in combination with a talent for giving presentations

Genedata offers an attractive Total Reward Package comprised of a competitive salary and attractive benefits in return for your contribution to our success.

Pay

$110,000–$125,000 plus Sales Incentive Compensation (SIC), with target annual earnings of $140,000–$250,000.

Schedule

This full-time position is based at our office in Lexington, MA. It requires about 20% travel within the US and requires occasional travel to Europe.
