About the role

Audacy is seeking an On Air Personality for our Portland, OR market. This role is responsible for entertaining and informing listeners through compelling on-air content, digital engagement, and live appearances.

Responsibilities

• Host live on-air shifts with energy, personality, and local relevance
• Create and produce compelling content for broadcast and digital platforms
• Engage with listeners via social media, station events, and promotions
• Collaborate with programming and production teams to develop show segments
• Participate in remote broadcasts and live events as assigned
• Maintain show preparation and research to ensure fresh, timely content

Requirements

• Previous on-air experience in a commercial radio environment
• Excellent verbal communication and improvisational skills
• Strong understanding of music genres, local culture, and audience demographics
• Proficiency with broadcast automation systems and audio editing software
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for remote appearances

Qualifications

• Proven track record of building listener relationships and growing audience share
• Experience with social media content creation and digital audience engagement
• Knowledge of FCC broadcast regulations and compliance
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience and market standards.

Schedule

Full-time position with shift assignments based on programming needs; includes some evenings, weekends, and holiday availability for live broadcasts and events.
