About the role

We are seeking a clinician – Emergency and Intensive Care Veterinarian at HOSPITAL VETERINARIO A MEDIA LUA (Santiago de Compostela).

Responsibilities

• Work in an interdisciplinary team where sharing, debating, and learning is valued.
• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure the best care for their pets.
• Handle complex cases and emergencies, making informed decisions based on evidence.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to provide high-quality care.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

• Experience in emergency and intensive care, or strong interest in this area.
• Interest in and ability to work with imaging diagnostics, emergency medicine, and/or intensive care.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine.

Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication with clients and other healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
