Bus Operator - Part Time

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport senior citizens to shopping destinations, medical appointments, and community events, typically within an 8-mile radius of College Park on weekdays.
• Absorb and assist passengers with boarding and exiting the bus, as well as with packages and groceries as needed.
• Provide additional program support, including light office duties and assistance with program setup and breakdown.
• Communicate with citizens and team members in a courteous manner while following all procedures and safety guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement.
• Ability to interact courteously and effectively with senior citizens.
• Dependability and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years of experience with an excellent driving record.

Compensation

Starting hourly rate: $26.82 - $27.49, commensurate with experience.
