Bus Operator - Driver
Indian Trails is hiring a full-time Bus Operator - Driver in Kalamazoo, Owosso, and Romulus, MI. Get paid to drive, meet new people, and provide excellent service while operating one of the newest and largest fleets in Michigan.
Pay
Start at $18/hour during training and $24/hour after training.

Schedule
Your schedule will vary based on routes and charter trips. Training lasts 4 - 6 weeks, during which you will be paid while earning your CDL B with Passenger and Air Brake Endorsements (if you don’t already have them). Some days you'll drive a regular bus route, while others may involve charter trips. For multi-day trips, hotel and meals are covered.
Responsibilities
- Ensure passengers reach their destinations safely and comfortably
- Drive different routes and stay on schedule
- Provide friendly customer service, greet passengers, and assist with luggage
- Operate regular bus routes or charter trips, including multi-day trips across the state or beyond
Requirements
- Passion for providing exceptional customer service
- CDL (A or B) with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements and an excellent driving record (or the ability to obtain one)
- Ability to obtain and enhance a license or passport for travel outside the U.S.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, Breath Alcohol test, and criminal background check (no prior alcohol or drug-related convictions or felonies)
- Enjoyment of traveling, seeing new places, and meeting new people
- Professional and courteous attitude when working with passengers
