Bus Operator - Driver
Indian Trails is hiring a full-time Bus Operator - Driver in Kalamazoo, Owosso, and Romulus, MI. Get paid to drive, meet new people, and provide excellent service while operating one of the newest and largest fleets in Michigan.
Pay
Start at $18/hour during training and $24/hour after training.

Schedule
Your schedule will vary based on routes and charter trips. Some days you'll drive a regular bus route, while others you may take groups on charter trips. Training lasts 4 - 6 weeks. If you're on a multi-day trip, we'll cover your hotel and meals.
Responsibilities
- Ensure passengers get to their destinations safely and comfortably
- Drive different routes and stay on schedule
- Provide friendly customer service
- Greet passengers and help with luggage
- Create a smooth and enjoyable ride
Requirements
- Passion for providing exceptional customer service
- CDL (A or B) with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements and an excellent driving record (or the ability to obtain one)
- Ability to obtain and enhance a license or passport for travel outside the U.S.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical
- Enjoyment of traveling, seeing new places, and meeting new people
- Professional and courteous attitude when working with passengers
- Must be able to pass a DOT drug screen, Breath Alcohol test, and physical
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check with no prior alcohol or drug-related convictions
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check with no felonies
