Key Responsibilities
- Operate buses on assigned routes and schedules (fixed and demand response).
- Complete required timesheets, documenting ridership, route details, bus number, and hours worked.
- Sell 14-ride tickets to passengers.
- Ensure passenger safety and system security in accordance with City policies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Class A or B, with passenger and air brake endorsement.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of driving and assisting passengers, including those with disabilities.
- Visual ability within normal parameters.
- Demonstrated reliability and strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements
- Primary duty is driving a city bus in varying traffic and weather conditions.
- Sufficient physical strength to assist passengers with disabilities.
- Ability to lift without restriction.
