Location: Columbia, MD (Hybrid) – minimum of three days per week in the office, with flexibility to work from home for the remainder of the week.
About the role
Computershare Corporate Trust (CCT) provides trustee and sophisticated agency services for private and public companies, investment bankers, asset managers, government agencies, and other financial institutions. As a Business Negotiations Consultant III within the CCT Originations Group, you will collaborate with internal and external partners to onboard new business and amendments in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role focuses on more complex transactions with strategically important clients, assessing new opportunities, supporting product development, and ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
Responsibilities
- Onboard new business in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Negotiate contracts and amendments to minimize risk for CCT and clients.
- Analyze and recommend new business opportunities, supporting product development and expansion of service offerings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners.
- Deliver risk-compliant solutions that meet or exceed customer needs and expectations.
- Escalate and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., OMT, Client Services, Legal, Compliance, Government & Control) and external partners.
- Provide leadership support to the manager and Business Negotiations team.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent work experience.

Pay
The typical base pay range for this role is $119,000 – $150,000 USD (specific to the Minnesota location; may vary for other locations).
