About the role
Transdev in Las Vegas, NV is hiring a Bus Fueler/Washer. This position is required to perform basic vehicle servicing duties. We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.
Responsibilities
- Operates power wash steam cleaner and monitors the availability of needed supplies.
- Daily fueling of buses and vehicles.
- Checks fluid levels of buses and vehicles.
- Wipes interior and exterior and the glass of washed vehicles to remove any residual dirt, grease, or film.
- Sweeps and mops floors of buses.
- May vacuum and clean vehicle interior and upholstery.
- Strictly observe Shop safety and environmental practices relating to the car wash and regarding proper handling and disposal of all waste streams.
- Responsible for safely operating the bus through the facility’s bus wash and navigating the inner perimeter of the property.
Qualifications
- Candidates must have a high school diploma, or equivalent.
- Previous experience at a service station preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Employees must be able to work any hours/shifts.

Physical Requirements
- Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions - 100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
- Sit for periods of time (up to 1-2 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces.
- Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level.
- Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
Pay
Starting pay $16.75 with progression to $17.77 over 2 years.
