Responsibilities
- Support field inspections, QA/QC activities, construction coordination, site assessments, and engineering support efforts associated with ongoing transit modernization and technology deployment programs.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, manufacturers, and client representatives while supporting both field and office operations.
- Conduct site visits, document existing conditions, and support engineering assessments.
- Identify, document, and communicate non-conforming conditions and support corrective action tracking.
- Coverage with project managers, contractors, manufacturers, and client representatives regarding project status and field conditions.
- Support engineering and project management teams with technical documentation, reporting, scheduling, and coordination activities.
- Review inspection reports, quality documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Participate in testing, commissioning, and system verification activities.
- Maintain organized project documentation including photographs, inspection records, and electronic files.
- Work effectively within active transit, construction, and operational environments while maintaining awareness of safety requirements.
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Transportation, or related technical field preferred.
- Military technical background, trade experience, or equivalent field experience will also be considered.
- 2–7 years of experience in construction, inspection, transit, manufacturing, maintenance, QA/QC, or related technical environments.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, technical problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience working in active field, operational, industrial, or construction environments preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project documentation tools preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as required.

Pay
Base Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
