Bus Driver Trainee - Paid Training

Requirements / Qualifications

• Hold a valid California Class A or B driver’s license with passenger endorsement & air brakes certification (renewed every five years).
• Type I School Bus Driver’s Certificate (renewed every five years).
• First Aid and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification (renewed every two years).
• Medical Examiners Certificate Card (renewed every two years).
• Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing.
• Ten hours of in-service training time required yearly.

Comments and Other Information

Applicant will need to get fingerprinted, drug tested, provide a DMV Driver Printout and have a physical/TB assessment.
