Job Description

The primary responsibility of a Bus Driver is to operate school buses safely and efficiently, transporting students to and from their designated schools while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Operate school buses safely and according to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Ensure that all students are seated properly and securely before starting the bus.
• Monitor students during the ride to ensure their safety and address any issues promptly.
• Unload students at their designated destinations and assist them in getting off the bus safely.
• Follow established routes and schedules, arriving on time for pick-up and drop-off.
• Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel immediately.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license.
• Passing scores on a background check and drug test.
• Experience driving school buses preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with students and parents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good physical condition to perform the job duties.
