Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of bus interiors, fuel buses, log passenger counts, and assist disabled passengers.
• Responsible for the timeliness of routes and flexibility of shuttle schedule.
• Maintain an acceptable DMV record.
• Courteously assist colleagues, visitors, patients, students, and faculty by answering questions and offering campus directions; direct inquirers to Parking Leadership when needed.
• Communicate any campus issues such as suspicious persons, parking machine problems, or regulatory needs.
• Assist handicapped individuals using the lift or providing assistance into vehicles.
• Be able to assist all regional campuses including LUMC, MacNeal, and Gottlieb.
• Assist colleagues, visitors, patients, and faculty with any parking needs.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Regional Manager of Parking Services.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma (minimum).
• Credentials/Licensure: Driver’s License (minimum); CDL Class C with Passenger Endorsement (preferred).
• Related Experience: 1‑2 years (minimum); 3‑5 years preferred.

Pay

Pay range: $15.40 – $19.28 per hour (actual compensation varies based on experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification, and internal equity).

Schedule

Shift: 10:45 am – 6:15 pm, Monday – Friday (evening shift).
