Responsibilities
- Safely operate a school bus in accordance with all federal, state, and district regulations.
- Transport students to and from school on assigned routes.
- Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain order and ensure student safety while on the bus.
- Complete required records and reports.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school personnel.
- Attend required trainings and meetings.
Qualifications
- Valid Maine Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements, or ability to obtain.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to pass required background checks and physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to student safety.
- Experience driving a school bus preferred, but training may be provided for qualified candidates.

Pay
Based on experience, per the Collective Barraging Agreement Bus Driver Range - $25-$31.50 per hour.
