Bus Driver

Job Description

The primary responsibility of a Bus Driver is to operate school buses safely and efficiently, transporting students to and from their designated schools while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Operate school buses in accordance with all state and local regulations
• Ensure that all passengers are safely seated and buckled up before starting the bus
• Monitor the bus interior and exterior for any hazards or issues
• Communicate with other drivers and school staff as needed
• Follow emergency procedures in case of accidents or emergencies

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Passing score on a vision test
• Passing score on a drug screening
• Passing score on a background check

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience driving large vehicles preferred
