Responsibilities

• Drive daily and weekly route schedules as well as special requests to assist residents with transportation needs.
• Assist residents with loading and unloading the bus (operate lift, carry belongings, open/close walkers and wheelchairs, carry oxygen tanks, and follow basic instructions for their use).
• Run errands for events and the community as requested.
• Conduct periodic checks of bus operation (fuel, oil, wipers, fluids, lights, etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness of the bus (interior and exterior, vacuum, remove garbage).
• Maintain logs and records pertaining to vehicle service.

Requirements

• Must be a driver in good standing and able to pass a background check with the insurance provider.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience driving a bus; prior experience working with seniors is preferred.
• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, and weekends.
