About the role
The successful candidate will operate school buses in accordance with state and federal regulations to transport students to and from school.
Responsibilities
- Operate school buses safely and efficiently
- Ensure all students are accounted for upon arrival at their destination
- Follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Load and unload students and equipment safely
- Ensure bus is clean and ready for the next trip
- Communicate effectively with students and parents
Requirements
- Valid Mississippi Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Passing score on the MVR (Mailing Vehicle Record)
- Passing score on the DOT (Drug and Alcohol Testing)
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have a valid Social Security number
Qualifications
- Experience driving school buses preferred
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices

Pay
Salary range: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
