About the Role
The Community Bus Driver plays a critical role for our residents by providing transportation services to and from appointments and activities.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport residents in and out of the vehicle utilizing ramps, wheelchair tie downs, and lifts.
- Provide safe and secure travel for residents while creating a comforting, calm, and engaging atmosphere.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve excellent care for residents.
- Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values (Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence) to residents, family members, customers, and staff.
Requirements
- Must be 25 years of age or older.
- Valid CDL license required for communities that have a bus carrying 15 or more passengers.
- Good standing and current Operator’s License.
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
