About the Role

The Community Bus Driver plays a critical role for our residents by providing transportation services to and from appointments and activities.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport residents in and out of the vehicle utilizing ramps, wheelchair tie downs, and lifts.
  • Provide safe and secure travel for residents while creating a comforting, calm, and engaging atmosphere.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve excellent care for residents.
  • Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values (Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence) to residents, family members, customers, and staff.

Requirements

  • Must be 25 years of age or older.
  • Valid CDL license required for communities that have a bus carrying 15 or more passengers.
  • Good standing and current Operator’s License.
  • High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong safety focus and ability to ensure secure travel.
