Bus Delivery Driver - Part-Time

About the role

The delivery driver will work with other members of the Midwest Transit Equipment delivery team to increase customer satisfaction by safely delivering complete, accurate and on-time deliveries to the company’s customers. The driver will represent the company in a highly professional, safe and cost effective manner that complies with DOT and other applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Work with other members of the delivery team to increase customer satisfaction
• Safely deliver complete, accurate and on-time deliveries to customers
• Represent the company in a highly professional, safe and cost effective manner
• Comply with DOT and other applicable regulations
• Drive bus in accordance to established safety procedures
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and fuel the bus as needed
• Prepare and maintain records in accordance to the standards and regulations established by DOT
• Aid with parts delivery as needed

Requirements

• Clean driving record
• Valid Class B driver’s license with passenger endorsement
• Comply with Department of Transportation standards
• Drives bus in accordance to established safety procedures
• Performs daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and fuel the bus as needed
• Prepares and maintains records in accordance to the standards and regulations established by DOT

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Must be able to pass a background check

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The schedule is flexible and part-time, typically 12-16 hours per week.
