Bus Attendant (Special Needs) Substitute - Part-Time

Qualifications

• Someone willing to help children.

Essential Functions

• Ensures the safe transportation of students, staff, and others to and from school, residential neighborhoods, and field trips.
• Attends training on information regarding students with special needs, students confidentiality, and bus loading and unloading procedures including the secure transport of wheelchairs, emergency procedures and bus inspection for the end of each route.
• Trained in any special requirements of conditions included in the student's IEP regarding the safe transport of required medications and medications that may be needed to be administered in emergency situations.
