Bus Attendant
About the role
Join our team as a Bus Attendant, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our exceptional education students during their daily commute. You'll work a split shift and provide a supportive, secure environment for every student.
Your day-to-day
- Work a split shift from 5 am – 8 am and 2 pm – 6 pm
- Assist the bus driver and pay close attention to all safety protocols while transporting students
- Help students board, get them secured, and help them safely unload and cross the street
- Monitor student behavior and open and close the lift door
- Perform routine work that provides a supportive and secure environment for every student
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening test
Qualifications
- CPR certification (preferred but not required)
- Experience working with students with disabilities (preferred but not required)
