About the role
Mission Critical Group (MCG) is seeking a skilled assembler to support the assembly of copper bus required for electrical equipment. The role focuses on contributing to a team that aims to deliver industry-leading cycle time, superior quality, and cost reduction.
Responsibilities
- Execute workmanship on all production projects, including large line-ups and complex sections, to assemble and install copper bus into enclosures according to engineering drawings and instructions.
- Install and mount conductive material into electrical enclosures by reading and comprehending schematics or documents, under supervision and guidance from senior team members.
- Use equipment and tools safely and properly, including tape measures, drills, hand power tools, overhead cranes, pallet jacks, and saw horses.
- Interpret and apply basic knowledge of manufacturing and principles to determine bussing parts, methods, and sequencing.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area by complying with safety procedures, rules, quality standards, and best practices.
- Complete necessary paperwork such as Engineering Corrective Reports, Non-conformance Reports, Corrective Action Reports, and Material Transfer Requests.
Qualifications
- 0-1 year of work experience assembling copper bus or similar materials into electrical control equipment in a manufacturing facility.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and costs.
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Active listening, verbal and written communication skills, time management, and manual dexterity.
- Quality focus, teamwork/cooperation, and multi-limb coordination.
- High school diploma or GED.

Benefits
Flexible schedule: Monday to Friday 6am to 4pm, occasional Saturdays.
Pay
$20.00 per hour.
