Qualifications
School bus aides must be physically capable to assist students who ride a school bus and evacuate students in an emergency.
Responsibilities
- Assists driver and students in operation of lifts for wheelchairs and assisting students
- Maintains good student conduct on the bus
- Secures special equipment that may accompany the student
Pay
$15.78 per hour (Classified Salary Schedule Bus Aide)
Schedule
- Eastland Route: 3.5 hours per day
- Rock/Elk Meadows Route: 4.5 hours per day
- LaSal Route: 4.5 hours per day
